Terms of use
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms apply when you use leakbolt.com, call our phone line or send us a request. By using the service you agree to them.
1. What LeakBolt is
LeakBolt is a free referral service that passes homeowners' plumbing requests to independent local plumbing companies. We are not a plumbing contractor, we do not perform, supervise or guarantee plumbing work, and we do not employ the plumbers.
2. No guarantee
We do not guarantee that a plumber will be available, will contact you within any time, or will quote any price. In an emergency that puts people at risk, such as a gas smell or flooding near electricity, leave the area and call 911 or your utility first.
3. Your agreement with the plumber
Any work, price, warranty, permit or payment is between you and the plumbing company you choose. Check the company's license, insurance and quote before hiring. You can look up Texas plumbing licenses with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners.
4. Your information
You agree to give accurate contact details for yourself. Our privacy policy explains how we use your information and the calls and texts you agreed to.
5. Proper use
Do not send false requests, use someone else's phone number, or try to disrupt or copy the site.
6. Disclaimer
The site and service are provided "as is". The tips on this site are general information, not professional advice. To the fullest extent allowed by law, LeakBolt is not liable for the work, conduct, prices or delays of any plumbing company, or for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to one hundred US dollars.
7. Texas law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
